By the end of 2026, the winning platforms look like this: The same cluster runs web services, ML training, inference and agent workloads. The ingress is Gateway-API-native. The schedulers are GPU-aware. The AI team doesn't run its own inference stack; it uses opinionated golden paths. The MCP servers are sandboxed, signed, and gated. The guardrails live in the data plane, not inside each app.
